HUGE Convention Floor Model 6FT

The 6 foot DIY truck skid is specifically designed for full size pickups with a 6 foot or 6-1/2 foot bed and 48-1/2 inches between the wheel wells. Our DIY kit is perfect for the individual looking to save thousands on a build with kit that bolts together in a couple hours. You can use your existing pressure washer, hose reels, tanks and softwash system or build entirely from scratch with new components. The bolt together design reduces freight costs with the ladder rack and shelves removed for shipping. 

Frame Construction:

  • Base – formed from a single sheet of 3/16″ thick 5052 aluminum with C channel construction for added strength.
  • Ladder Rack – 2″x2″ extruded square tubing from 6061 T6 aluminum with 1/4″wall thickness and radius corner.
  • Ladder Rack Ends – constructed from 3/16” thick 304 Stainless Steel with tie down anchor point. 
  • Shelves – formed from a single sheet of 3/16″ thick 5052 aluminum with suspension gussets for greater flex reduction under heavy loads. Rated to 500lbs per shelf.
  • Corner Gussets – formed from 1/4” 5052 aluminum and fastened with super durable hardware. 
  • Frame Hardware –  3/8” Stainless Steel hardware (bolts, washers, locknuts) for corrosion resistance and durability. Rack Ends use 5/16″ Stainless Steel.
